i dun thnk other batch have this message board to update them about the latest happenings. we love u n hope to hear from u even after u leave. i appreciate those times we both shared during sny n especially the last month of training as thats when we get to knw each other better. remember how we assured each other tat we will try to keep in touch after we start flying? all those bitchin around n struggles we had during our training? i uderstand how jen felt when she told me shes upset after reading this message board. we genuinely care for each other n its not juz another "thxs for the flight.." (bitch!)
i always felt tat u r too good for this job but i didnt expect u to leave so soon. good luck in watever u do n stay pretty n bitchy. leave the company but dun 4get about all ur crazy mates n people who care n love u. *hugs*

[> More than Thanks For The Flight -- Mag, 06:32:53 01/16/02 Wed

Dear Hui,
Thanks woman. I've been thinking about how to reply your message. I am honestly very touched by all the care and concern you guys showed to me, and I really love and miss all of you a lot. There wasn't any particular reason why I disliked the job. i just felt like I've tried it, and it's not really for me, and so it's time to move on to something else. To be honest, I've been thinking a lot these few days abt how I spent 2001 and what are my plans for 2002, and of course I spent last year mostly with all of you, and it's truly a very good and memorable year for me in my life, not coz I made it to be a 'Singapore Girl', but coz I think I have made true friends which I think I'll be keeping for a long long time to come. It's really true that we have a special bond between us that keeps us close, and even though we have not kept in touch as much as we would have liked after graduation, I feel that we are not the sort of friends who will drift apart after we have not spoken for a while; I think we are the sort we can meet up after many years of not seeing each other and still be able to talk non stop abt any and everything. I think it is this sort of friendships that are the most precious as they can withstand the test of time, and we know that we'll always be close.

When I took on this job I said the typical lines in the interview like all the rest "I want to see the world, to travel, to meet people, blah blah blah..." and I've only flown for such a short while so i don't think I have travelled THAT much or met that many people, but I feel lucky to have met all of you guys, as it would be my loss if I missed out on all of you, as all of you guys are truly great. I mean it. I finally watched the grad VCD with SMP and it really brings back a lot of good memories, all the fun and struggles and bitchiness and fun we had during training and the rehearsals for graduation, the SNYs and wet runs. It was all we had to hold on to when we went solo and were all alone, and in so many ways, we are all we have, as we know that only your batch mates are your true friends. Well I hope that we'll always have each other, and I hope we can have a renuion soon, maybe after the JCL enhancement you guys are going to have soon, so we can all meet up and talk.

Hui, thanks for the flattering compliment that you always thought I was too good for this job. I don't feel that I am too good for it, just that I am not patient enough for it eventually! Haha! Well I'll be working, having fun and travelling hopefully these 6 months, and then it's 3 years of uni for me starting july, so I'll be leading a relatively boring life while you guys continue to jet set around the globe, maybe even to our new destination Las Vegas :). Have fun and I really love all of you a lot. I know I always say this but everytime I read new messages posted and stuff you guys write, I really feel that I love and miss all of you hell of a lot. But don't be sad. I might no longer be an FSS as of 24th Jan, but we'll always be friends! Don't make it sound like I'm disappearing forever k Hui. Love you!

Love, Mag
