Are they paid employees? I didn't realize that. I thought they were volunteers. I'm pretty sure Aisha, Alisha and Sharmalee are students. I don't know about the others.

I think Alisha and Jamshed have been the biggest problems. Sharmalee went on that one rampage where she banned every American in sight, but she's stayed pretty quiet since then.

And, yes. There is a whole lot of inflammatory news on that site. Maybe Asim is just good at PR and not so nice after all. Who knows? He's always been nice to me.

Asim knows what he's doing.

PNS is nothing but a propoganda mill.

Asim and co can't tell a true report if it came up and bit them!

They have a few token Americans there - people like you and Kev who get banned every once so often and airheads like mandy and others like MedinaMan (who i think is a Paki in disguise).

S,

Alisha,Hina and Sharmilee have been associated with PNS since beginning and are either partners or Paid employees of PNS.

About How good Asim is - Well he has a News Service to Run and you can't expect him to be an IDIOT like Jamshed or Alisha. Also, Not to forget he is the Editor of PNS and anything which comes on PNS must be approved by him.

btw here is a piece from one of the threads (FREEDOM OF PRESS IN PAKISTAN) by him :- (Posted by Mandy)
This is what editor of Pakistan News Service who have their staff in Islamabad said about Freedom of Press in Pakistan on another thread...

hmm... really strange, sounds more like a la-la land story. Pakistan News Service
has a major presence in Islamabad. We have not been hassled by either Pakistan
Government directly or indirectly. In all fairness, the same goes for U.S. Govt.
we have never been hassled by U.S. Govt. either. Neither governments have ever
told us how to report, who to report and what to report for our news stories.

=Asim

+++++++++++++

Now this guy wants all of us to believe that there is no problem for Press in Pakistan and they enjoy complete Freedom. Of course He never had to face any problem -

1. Because PNS is not based in Pakistan but USA
2. Because PNS is very PRO PAK GOVT (Not Pro Pak as suggested by someone on the thread)
3. You can see how they will change their colors when Mushy goes.

Anyways, I dont care what they think, because I have many Paki friends and they all are nice and very friendly. I was really surprised to see these bunch of educated Idiots who are basically selling HATRED (Be it India/Jew/America whoever). These bastards (except MOMIN)are worse than those Mullahs in Pakistan.
