Sharmalee has come out to play. She is no longer listed as a moderator. Wonder if Asim got tired of having to clean up her little messes?

Anyway, she seems to be dealing with it by attempting to bait people into making "inflamatory" comments. Stay away, Kev. Stay far away.

Please note that she is posting under PakVixen and Vixen. Do not be fooled by the clever attempt to disguise her identity. :)

Sharmalee claims that the report that US commandos participated in the arrests last week in Pakistan was false. "Propoganda." I noticed that PNS has a retraction of that in an article. Have you seen retractions anywhere else?

And why do they want this to be misinformation? Is it that insulting to think that US officers are assisting Pakistani officers within Pakistan?

They are just mimicking their govt position. That's all.

Truth is optional.

Everyone knows that if the Pak authorities knew of the raid, the bad guys would have been tipped of by the ISI.

That's just BS. FBI carried out the arrest with minimal support from Pakis. See:

Intelligence sources told United Press International Saturday that the overall plan was kept secret from Pakistani police and intelligence agencies and they were used only in the last stage for carrying out raids.

"The Americans fear that despite a previous purge, Pakistani security agencies still have Taliban and al Qaida sympathizers and that's why they kept the plan secret from us," said a senior Pakistani security official.

The response was classic and to the point. If the US and Pakistan are supposed to be allies, what is the problem with the FBI helping make the arrests of international criminals. I loved it!

My question (of course) was who let them hide out in Pakistan in the first place ;) I have no problem with them not letting the local law enforcement in on the act as they were obviously in country with their local knowledge. We had their government's permission, that green light yielded strong results with minimum interference.

I'm so glad he said that. I couldn't have touched it with a ten foot pole and not gotten banned.
