At my brother's house today, someone left the back door open long enough for a sparrow to wander in. We had squealing girls, an overexcited cat and a big redneck with a pool cue in his hand running around like crazy.

Make you piss your pants it was so funny.

At one point my brother caught the bird, but he accidentally let it go in an attempt to show it to his freaked out daughter. The next catch went to the cat. We couldn't even figure out where the bird had gone, then suddenly a cat went flying through the air and landed with a bird in his mouth. This was not a pretty development. The cat was picked up and thrown outside, bird still firmly hooked in teeth. God rest the little sparrow soul.

If this ever happens to you, we rent out both the cat and the pool cue. Take your pick. But please, no calls to PETA. A redneck with a pool cue isn't that picky about what he hits. PETA would fare no better than the bird.
