Personal Log,
June 5th 256,

Undead, Lizards, crazy Elves and I don't know what else. It's all getting a little too insane for my tastes.
In the past few days I've been fighting almost non-stop against all of the above. I've seen people die before, but this is different. Much different. It pains me even to think, let alone write of the cruelties that have been inflicted upon the corpses that I've seen in the caves deep beneath Bridalveil. I am trapped in a nightmare.

Only a day ago I was forced to fight against my former colleagues; my former friends. Almost all of the Militia and Knights of St. Calumus have been turned into zombies. We fought them, and killed them. Aldert von Amerst and Frank Hutten were amongst the ones I had to kill. Goddamnit, Frank only joined the militia four weeks ago.

It turns out we're *the words "we're" are crossed out* I am responsable for everything. The other day we opened a door. My instincts, my mind and my heart cried out to me that we shouldn't open it, but I did not stop anyone. A lady was inside, imprisoned. By opening the door we set her free, and by doing so we allowed her to turn half the town into zombies. I try not to think about it too much, but it's hard when you're trying to set it right. I'm afraid there's not much to set right though, unless a miracle happens and all the dead become alive again. Really alive, I mean. Not zombies.

After these events are over I will be resigning from the militia. If I as a Constable was responsable for this many deaths, then maybe I shouldn't be a Constable.
I am even considering moving away from Bridalveil. I don't think I can face all the families who have lost relatives because of my foolish curiousity.

My head hurts and I am tired.
I wish I could sleep.
