Naw, it's a totally stand-alone sort of deal. This will just be a sort of an Easter Egg hunt/PvP tournement/dungeon-crawl sort of a thing. Just a sort of an OOC game. There's not much "role-playing" here, other than a standard hunt for an item and get it before the rival town gets it sort of thing. So, to answer your question, there's a thin "Catskillian" story on top, but it's basicly a big guild competition.

I know most of the people in Faalor didn't much care for the guild wars on Catskills, but there were elements of them that I truly loved. I have been wanting to play in something like this since NWN came out, and seeing as how I've not seen one made, I decided to do it myself. I love the rp and the stories and character developement, but I also love tactical thinking and PvP (see, people were right on Catskills, I am still a PK at heart! hehe).

I suppose depending on what the players did, this could be shaped into a more RP-friendly module. But that would take some work and that really wasn't my intention. My intention was to make something we could just jump into and blow off some steam when we didn't have enough folks for a real Faalor game (perhaps) while enjoying the company of our fellow players. And . . . *dryly* . . . not having to worry about all the OOC comments ruining the "atmosphere" . . .

>sounds interesting, but you know I like your campaign
>because of the stories...do you have background story
>in mind for that module, or will it be a part of the
>current faalor campaign somehow?
