Yeah I imagine it's hard on one DM. But with multiple DMs a whole new difficulty is introduced, because then you need to really streamline the story so no mistakes happen and one DM doesn't do something that contradicts the other DM.

As for story ideas.. pfff.. I don't know. If you're up for it (could require some extra time for building a module) you could ofcourse always start off that war between Yurissa and Pierce that has been brewing for forever now. I can see some fun moments in defending a city wall from incoming enemies, or something like that (Think Helm's Deep!).
Althelstan's ghost might make a great Illrigger commander if he possesses some body. Or perhaps he could team up with the Illriggers.

Something that just popped up in my mind, which might be interesting, is to do a storyline that looks at Faalor from the outside instead of inside. I remember reading about the mainland that existed outside of Faalor. It might be interesting to position the party on the side of the mainland that has to deal with a politically unstable Faalor somehow. Maybe merchants, maybe politicians, I dunno.

If all else fails, the ultimate story idea would be to focus it around Pirates. Pirates are always a succes!

I still kinda like that nobility-idea for the last campaign. Even if you change the setting, it might be fun to RP chars that are part of nobility, with the political backstabbing and distrust that comes with it.
