Do the guys with the good heads have an advantage ? Yes.. An overwelming advantage ? No.
Just look at your local track.. Does the big buck motor always win ? Is it always the fastest car ? "No" to both answers. We aren't going to race on a dyno. we gotta slow down and turn around quite often.( about 200 times in a 100 lapper) The driver that figures out how to slow down the least (get in faster and get off faster) is going to have a big step up on the competition. We would like to "spec" the engine, but at this time all we would hear is complaints. Remember there are other motors out there besides Chevys too. Anyone looked at a Olds 350 head lately ? To tell a Chevy guy he can't run a closed chamber head, then allow Olds heads would be unfair. There are some lessons to be learned by a lot of racers and us too. Mainly, lets have some fun and show the fans and promotors that we are serious racers too..

If It ain't fun... Don't do It.
