I remember back in..1995 and 96.."Casey's Top 40" and [Rick] Dees show counted down the same chart, yet

Interesting observation, Paul. It DOES seem rather odd that two different shows claiming to utilize the same source would arrive at different numbers for the top 5 positions. Although I have nothing against Rick Dees, I, too, would give the benefit of the doubt to Casey Kasem and his "whiplash aerobatic ensamble." (sorry, Dr. Rob!) To me, Casey Kasem has, and always will, exemplify professionalism and integrity when it comes to the music charts. Although nobody desires to point fingers at Rick Dees and his staff without concrete proof, it is sad to hear of possible fudging with the music charts on one of the countdown shows. Although this practice is unlikely to cease, Paul has done a great service by bringing this issue to the forefront. Thanks!

Andrew
