Hi Darren.

I am sure you and everyone else on the website already knows this, but it is worth repeating for the benefit of anyone who does not know: "Why Me" by Kris Kristofferson spent 38 weeks on the HOT 100 in 1973 (19 of those weeks in the Top 40) and peaked at # 16. The song was rewarded by being named the # 2 song of 1973 by "AT 40" (!) and the # 6 song of 1973 by Billboard.

In addition, "I Fall To Pieces" by Patsy Cline spent 20 weeks on the HOT 100 (10 of those weeks in the Top 40) and peaked at # 12. Billboard also named "I Fall To Pieces" the # 2 song of 1961.

I hope this information is helpful.

Andrew
