I have two more examples from central Europe. One happened in the end of 1998 when the staff of former Blue Danube Radio, then FM4 in Vienna, Austria was trying to persuade me that there was no Top 100 show for the year. Crazy! Instead they took HOT AC Top 60 of 1998, started to play it at number 40 and with two exceptions very carefully edited all 'American Top 20' jingles out leaving just Casey's Coast to Coast or Hits from Coast to Coast or similar ones. Stupid try to fake it.

The second one is more recent and it happened very unhappily during Top 100 of 2001 broadcast on Vienna's Krone Hit Radio. They played first two hours of Part I of AT100 of 2001 and they went on the air with Hours 3 and 4 of the previous week's show thus playing Top 20 of the 2001 last weekly show of the year. But next week they were right playing all four hours of Part II of the year-end special, from 50 to #1.
