Subject: Radio Stations that screw up the show

Im sure this has happened to many people (it did not happen this week, but I was thinking about it so I thought I would share it)

You are listening to the countdown, and you hear the "Countin' Down The hits with Casey Kasem" jingle that is the "on the hour" jingle which also is the end of that disc. It plays, and then when it is over the wrong disc has obviously started. (on AT40 each disc is 10 songs, the AT20's are scattered) Sometimes it will be a disc skipped, other times a disc repeated.

Or the worst, is when they mix the discs up, and all of the sudden it is last weeks show again. That happened a few times on 104.1 WQAL in the Summer of 2001 with the Hot AC show. Once, they played Hour 1 of the previous weeks show, but then as soon as it was time for Hour 2 it was the right show.

Another time they played the previous weeks Hour 3 disc, so I never found out what the number one song was (it turns out it was the same song, but still)

Just wondering how bad other stations have screwed up AT40 or AT20. It really isn't that hard, and you would think the board op would recognize the show was the same, and hell, the date and hour is PRINTED on the disc. I guess the board ops really do not care.

Any other stories of stations screwing up the show, playing part of the previous weeks show again, repeating an hour, missing an hour. Etc etc etc
