A few more from the '80s:

You Better Run - Pat Benatar, #42, 1980
About a year after its Hot 100 run, this song became an MTV staple.

Switchin' To Glide - The Kings, #43, 1980
A song with a rather odd chart run, released with 2 different flip sides, it spent 23 weeks on the Hot 100.

Tom Sawyer - Rush, #44, 1981
When I think of Rush, this song comes to mind before "New World Man", which went all the way to #21 (actually, "Take Off" comes to mind first, sorry Geddy!).

Workin' For A Livin' - Huey Lewis & The News, #41, 1982
A song that probably gets more airplay today than their #1 hit "Jacob's Ladder".

I Gotta Try - Michael McDonald, #44, 1982
I could have sworn this song made the top 40.... probably because it did so much better on R&R's chart, and actually got some countdown action (just not on AT40).

Should I Stay Or Should I Go - The Clash, #45, 1982; #50, 1983
Two chart runs and this classic still couldn't crack the top 40!!
