It's Raining Men - The Weather Girls, #46, 1983
Had it been released about 4 or 5 years earlier, it would've been a huge chart hit.

Centerfield - John Fogerty, #44, 1985
An example of a B-side that's probably better remembered than its higher charting A-side, "Rock and Roll Girls" (#20).

Superbowl Shuffle - The Chicago Bears Shufflin' Crew, #41, 1986
Actually, a drop piece of this song was played at least once on AT40.

Knocked Out - Paula Abdul, #41, 1988
Paula would have missed out on having her first 3 top 40 hits all go to #1, if this song had squeaked up a little higher.

If You Leave Me Now - Jaya, #44, 1990
A dance hit that never attained mass appeal at once, spending 26 weeks on the Hot 100 (I believe at the time, that was a record for a non-top 40 hit).
