And sometimes,
I would go to the little corner of
the net
where you would leave me flowers.

A rose
or a wild flower of unknown origins,
the scent
left in black print on a screen.

I inhaled your mind
through the letters splattered

We cannot touch
here
or anywhere really
though
I am crying again regardless
and it can be so hard to see
clearly when I do not find you here,
or the flowers you leave.

I caught sight of you in the shadows
of an apartment building
against the wall
in bright colors
written in a childs lilting script

And sometimes,
the words dry
to uncolored husks of grass stalks.

You talk to me in languages
in tongues
in tones of grey.

I will fade quietly away
without your flowers on my screen.

I have seen the future
and you are not the blooming Rose
of which you spoke
but I dont mind as long as I find you.

A wild flower waits somewhere
in the corner
wilting but still colored with life.

Write me a Rose,
or anything
just one more time......
