Jaded, fruitless
these misconceptions
blind assumptions that only do harm
does it make it any easier
to avoid it
and step over
to judge
and decide
that it is not just what it is

if you're looking to see something as empty
that is all that it will be
if you study it with your eyes closed
it will always be in your head

pointless, these accusations
this leads to nothing
nothing positive
all negative
yours is not a deaf ear
just an ear that you have already filled with words
and ideas
from your immagination
a protection

to keep you safe
so you can feel
constantly pushing out
so nothing gets in

Is it easier THIS way?
Does THIS make you feel safe?
Are you more comfortable like THIS?
