You know that i love you
That I've always loved you
From the moment we first kissed gently
When you brought me to life
I wanted to be with you forever
I thought you wanted that too
But you couldn't do it
You couldn't handle me and your pain all at the same time
I tried to help
But you wouldn't let me
I tried to understand
But you wouldn't tell me
For some reason this had to be dealt with alone
It had to be dealt with in secrecy
You were sure the one you loved would never understand or be able to help
You were hurting so much
You still are
It kills me to see you like thi
Most of the time I see you happy - the way you always were
The one who loves life and could care less what anyone thinks
But when i look in past your eyes, I see pain in your soul
Somberness
Wistfullness
Longing to be loved (even tho I am right here)
Longing to let me in
But hesitation and fearfulness stop those feelings from going into effect
You hide it well
You run from them
Avoiding me at times, hoping to numb those feelings
But so attached to me the rest of the time because you fight them anymore
Why not let me in?
I know your reason for hesitation now
If I was to condemn you I would have done it by now
I don't think any less of you
You're still my hero - I still love you unconditionally
I think I love you more now than I did before
Don't push me away and out of your life
