Hello All,
These particular stanzas are disconnected. They are temporary appeasments to times of mental anguish. I hope they are indictive of a troubled being insomuch as then I have found an escape. ---Matthew S. Simon

“Blinded to the appeasing night sky
Though it’s beauty has not changed
But my eyes have fallen to the earth
Alone; from love estranged.”

“Waking fearful, always tense
Insecurities consuming all within
Death always so far away
Another day I must begin.”

“The curtains draw shut.
Light becomes opaque
Vision so obscure.
Your sentiments so fake.”

“An epiphany had come
when the pain I could stand no longer.
While the scar tells of old weakness
With the chalice, I am stronger.”
