"Going away" depends on what you leave when you go...
You may go away, and you may leave your heart in the home it's always known, or you may take it with you and forget what has shaped it. I have friends who have done both...
Many of the ones who left their hearts at home, now live in futility... trying to stay in what will always be the past, what will always be childhood.
Yet, I often mourn the ones who took their hearts, because there is nothing left to tie them to me, and to our common past... though I do admire them sometimes... they have a certain bravery to cut away all that has made them, and start anew.
I've found though, that your heart will take you where it needs to be, whether you've come to realise it yet or not.
