You left me alone for so long

No explanation
You said it was your problem - I couldn't help you

I would've never guessed this
This obsession that you have

My first love, and this is how you treat me?
If this is love - I want nothing more to do with it
I don't understand you
You said you loved me, then you left me
And I had no idea why you did it
"Move on" you said
I fought it so much
But in the end, what could I do?
Cry over you for the rest of my life?
In fact, someone did come along
Someone who, with just a simple word, helped ease my pain
Not take it away, mind you, but helped
We became friends
Good friends
It wasn't getting serious, but I was moving on
Then months later you decide to reveal your feelings to my best friend
What . . . ?
You never stopped loving me?
Then why on earth did you tell me to move on?!
I don't understand you
You say you're jealous when you see me with him . . .
But you're not sure if you want me back
Well it's one or the other - I'm not going to be here forever
You can't have the best of both worlds
If I had the best of both worlds, I wouldn't have to decide between and you him
I still love you
I'm praying for you
But how long can I wait for you to figure this out?
How long will he put up with this before he's out of my life too?
And then I lose both of you . . .
