i felt bad about eating all that space, so i consolidated these 2 poems into one message.

"oasis"

as i lonesome cross this desert
in thine eyes an oasis presented
where i can slake my heartfelt thirst
my solitude no longer resented
in a journey such as this
one cannot be filled so each day
so excuse me, dear, as i speak to thee
and joyous sip my troubles away



"this moment"

let me believe myself irreplaceable
as i know you are to me
speak not of ambiguous futures
or the way our worlds may be
let us not contemplate greatly
on days and lands afar
but let us sit soft and appreciate
just the way things are
