the wind in my face
going faster and faster
i let it all go
free for a moment
feeling above the rest
leaving behind the pain
just me and the cold night
with my eyes glued to the heavens
and my thoughts on the future
what if's don't matter
no regrets, no worries
at least I tried . . .
that's all that matters
only if you were here though
i can't help to think and dream
i'd loose everything for that moment
but i'll keep going because of hopes and maybes
just maybe you'll understand someday
i'd give you the world if it were mine to take
but i promise you my world and all i am
just for that chance. . .
