My darling,
This was excellent... I really loved it. You're right, it is a cliche... it is the remnants of the ideal 1950's families, and the reality of dysfunction... It's a rose colored youth to those who have no idea what it is to be young now. It is sitcoms by writers in LA who look to their own childhoods to tell you what yours should be.... sorry for the rambling, just my thoughts spewing fourth again.
