His heart lightening, realizing that he wasn't alone. His family was always there, even if he didn't see them all the time. He nuzzled Wild Side, "I've missed you so, Wild Side..." He thought about Cory as he nuzzled his Beta. He remembered her vividly with her dapple grey coat and shimmering mane and tail. He then came back to reality to realize that she wasn't there, but Wild Side was. He nuzzled the beautiful buckskin tobiano again, "I love you." He then nuzzled his daughter and son, expressing his affection and love for them as well. "I'm so proud of you two." He turned to Revenge and whinnied shrilly in play. He was glad that he had such a loyal friend.

As he saw everything begin to break out between his daughter and the two stallions, he stood for a moment, unsure of what was going on. As he began to catch on when Farligan ran, he looked to Revenge and Wild Hearts. He had a few words to say to Wild Hearts when he got back, but it would have to wait. He whinnied to Wild Side for her to wait. He would talk to his daughter. When he caught up with Farligan, he stopped and smiled softly, "Darling...you have to quit running..." He touched her shoulder with his velvet muzzle as a loving father, "I'm getting too old and too fat to chase after you like this!" His amber eyes were full of hope as he looked into his daughter's, "Everything's going to be okay, Farlee...I promise." He said softly as he stood beside her, listening quietly.
