He shook his head, chuckling to himself. He looked at the mare and said, "You know, you are actually quite funny. You bring Middy here, dying, abandon it while you look for your lost love and then you leave for who knows how long. I tried helping you. I was going to take him to the vet... but then that was just to unrealistic.. I got the kings, but where were you? So don't tell Firefly she's not being a good friend... tell yourself your not being a good friend. A "REALISTIC" friend wouldn't just dump her dying colt, spreading even more grief and then don't show up again. We tried... now it's time to move on." Malke walked back to his herd, nuzzling Firefly. His ears turned towards the sound in the brush, watching it carefully.
