His harlequin coat glistened in the sunlight as he stepped toward the other stallion. His usually softened eyes were now stern with disappointment and anger. He tried his best to be supportive of both his daughter and the ones she had found love with, but the protective fatherly instinct couldn't let him see past his daughter's pain.

He made his way to the young stallion and whinnied quietly so no one else would hear, "I understand what you are going through, Wild Hearts...but you have to be strong for her now...and your foals." He took a breath, "You might think that you aren't worth her time, but in her opinion you are and even if you feel that you are hurting her more by letting her see you, you have to stay because that is what she wants." He felt his teeth clench, "I'm telling you this because I am her father and I don't want to see her hurt again..." He snorted, "If it were up to me, I'd make sure she was never hurt again, but that wouldn't be what she wanted!" "Even if you did-" He cut himself off as he realized that he was going off the on the younger horse which was only going to make matters worse. He looked away to Farligan and then looked back at Wild Hearts, his eyes piercing with rage almost seeming like they could slice through stone, "You made the wrong decisions before..." He said sternly, but controlling his emotions, "Make the right decisions now..."
