Subject: WEMBLEY & A YAPPY DOG.

Back then I was working down in Colchester & watching the game on my own apart from a yappy little dog that my landlord was minding. As the game progressed I started to sense a ribbing on Monday. Then it happened, Gibbs seemed to skip to a stop & set off again baffling the Saes defence, by the time he raised his hand I was screaming (with joy). If your life depended on a conversion you’d want Jenks to take it, but this was more important than that. Meantime the dog was milling about after he came in to see what the fuss was. As the flags went up I screamed again causing the dog to piss himself. Superb. I laughed ‘till I cried & then phoned every Saes I knew.
