We have no say over a military base . In fact it would be stupid for wa to take over hanford as we did not make the mess the feds did and other states are . other than that nuclear reator at hanford for weapons purposes ws Never finished the reactors that were being built here by private enterprise for power as the people said no . so they are sitting not finished . cheer up duncan they are talking of building a huge solar farm and windmills in the area that hanford is not on the reservation but on the land that cannot be used for other resons due to the pollution from hanford during the cold war years. what do children have to do with it . they are more susceptable to radiation than adults are . I was part of a study for the radiation let loose by the fed reactor at handford during the 40s when i was a child. The study is all archived at gonzaga university in Spokane they were hoping that someday some intensive study would be done on the results of the info. I suppose you do not know that the 3 of the 4 highest incedences of ms in the world are in the 3 counties in was state directly in hte wind patterm n or hanford.
