I'm speaking of the offical US government number on inflation....the same number that has been used since forever and the same number that every financial organization uses. BTW, using your comment on gasoline, it is down in price from earlier this spring.....does that mean we have disinflation? And I just bought a new laptop and it was much cheaper than the one I bought three years ago. Some things are up and some are down. That is why you use the official government numbers that use a constant basket of goods. I've always said that you lefties must have flunked econ 101 and now you have proven it. You need to stop showing your ignorence.
