when others said gas prices were going up you said they did not know what they were talking about until it hit the area you were in . Gas prices did drop for a short time where I live however they are back up to all time highs again .

the things that are necessities to live such as transportaion , heat and other energy needs, food and medical care and housing are all up in most are, Other things are not necessities . ARe you talking about the same gov't indexing that came up with a 2.3 percent increas in colas for ss. On that index food , gas etc are not even taken into consideration such things as computes and electronics are part of that indexing . Most sr could well do without the goods that government indexing used for ss purposes.
