I just gave CA as an example. WA and Or got hurt because of CAs lack of forsite. When a state as large as CA becomes desperate for energy, they will take it from anyone they can and drive the price up. Energy is a commodity and will go to the highest bidder.
All of that was a wakeup call for some states and government officials to get with it and start planning for future energy supplies. Let's hope everyone learned their lesson but I doubt it.

>ca was not the only one hurt by enron . SO was oregon
>and washington. Wa was mainly hurt by president bush
>thru his executive orders. Enron has also losts law
>suits in wa State over than energy thing. however it
>was the presidential ordrs that hut wa most. I am not
>sure all the law suits in wa are even settled at this
>time. I do not understand when enron and energy is
>mentioned everyone jumps on the ca thing when others
>were hurt just as badly if not even worse.
