Subject: Campaign finance violation?

Why did Cohen enter a guilty plea to the charge of a criminal campaign finance violation, when it's abundantly clear that there was no violation? I think it's apparent that a cabal, of which Mueller is a willing participant, is desperately trying to find something for which they can label Trump as a co-conspirator...even if they have to create it out of thing air. It's also quite clear that this guilty plea was required by Mueller as a condition to the overall deal made with Cohen. Apart from the other charges against him, which have nothing to do with Trump or his campaign, Cohen will not spend one minute of time in prison for this phony charge.

Interestingly, Demorat senator and presidential candidate John Edwards paid a million dollars to silence his mistress while seeking the Demorat nomination in 2008...using funds from actual campaign contributors. He was charged for this obvious violation several years later, but was eventually acquitted. To the best of my knowledge, the Edwards case was the only instance of someone being prosecuted for a criminal
campaign finance violation.
