Subject: Some explanation as to what I'm up to

There is another side to this tale. It's mystical, quite magickal, and deals with extradimensional entities of malicious intent. Kepler, here, is a bad guy hireling working for one of the prime military/security contractors in the world, and is raiding a wealthy drug lord's compound not because he is a drug lord, but because he bought some documents in an auction in Praag that Kepler's boss wants to advance his plot to open extrademensional gateways and let his master through.

As violent as it's going to be (it's an unfortunate truth that I'm a better action writer than a literary writer) there will be a redeeming message and a philosophical side to match and surpass the bloodshed. This is only the opener.

I guess it will have to be somewhere in the action/occult/horror genre. But that's okay because that market is keen at the moment.

Hoping that if I can publish this and get some industry cred that I can have the freedom to do something more like Paco.

  • it's not polished yet, either. That's the last step -- Randy, 22:14:12 04/19/09 Sun
