Subject: Rant? Looks reasonable to me....

Perhaps the need to be led is strong in some people and virtually non-existent in others. I think some of my reaction is based on a long established and consecrated dislike for authority and the weakness it fosters and punishes in the people. Like some sort of mad father figure, setting up mindless tasks which can only lead to failures. That, coupled with a deep mistrust of the overly religious; well, it is almost enough to make a guy drink.

Another factor is the close relationship I had with these types, for way too many years, hating to see them become the norm rather than the odd mutant supervisor or officer. Their crowning achievement is that they create such a mess that they are assurred a job for many years to straighten out the messes they create. Heck, its just money!

Spring is here, time to plant, time to watch green things grow and time to just look the other way and let some of the comedy play itself out. There are hundreds of natural stumbling blocks these people cannot avoid because they cannot comprehend them. Keep getting some laughs out of it; keep having some fun kicking the anthill, and otherwise go out there and enjoy God's gifts.

Have a great day -- stay well, my regards to everybody!
