The news blurb seems to indicate that these are just some 'good ol' boys' trying to kick some ass. If they were in the south, they would be called 'rednecks'. I guess redneck goes everywhere.

I can't find fault with them wanting to kick some ass. There are a lot folks around here ready to do the same. Our county is about 5,000 sq miles with a population of 20,000. The state patrol posted an article in the newspaper that stated that the fines for Jan. in our county was $101,000. Take note that was just state patrol fines and does not inclule city police or county sheriff. There are people around here who are ready to start shooting and burning. I don't know it this shit is nationwide or just localized around here. If it is nationwide, the fuse is lit. If it is not nationwide, they are probably working us by sections. I sound like a paranoid--but I ain't no dummy. Little by little, bit by bit.

The indians had the right idea. I wish we could live by their ideal--we would all be better off. Yeah, some will aruge that we would not be the greatest nation on earth. I say so what. I would rather be happy than great in the sense that greatness is judged by our society. Greatness has nothing to do with material wealth. The old saying that "No one likes a miser, but they make great ancestors." rings true but it also helps perpetuate the myth that money can buy happiness. Any happiness that comes at the expense of another persons well being is fruitless for everyone in the equation.

Gee, I have strayed far from the topic. Excuse me.
