Being happy as hell is cool, but you have an obligation to see to it that your "happiness" is perpetuated.

Being happy as hell is not enough. Being involved in local government, even if that means just reading the paper to make sure you know what's going on, and going to meetings when it's required, is important to keeping your "happy as hell being a citizen" lifestyle.

Voting, is a responsibilty. If you don't vote, you really have no right to complain about those who win.

Being a citizen in this country especially, requires some activity on our part. How well we do determines whether we make it or not.
