*he emerges from the trees, his four half-grown pups following at his heels. He trots in with his head high, his ears clicked up. His roving eyes search in a small glint of hope for Snowlfake, out of habit. He scans the pack, and not seeing her, he sighs.

*Blizzard follows his father into the home he was born. he follows faithfully at his father's side. He runs clsoe to his sister's side. SnowStar, being bigger than him, protects his side. She runs just behind her father, mimcking his every move. Her sister follows her. SnowStorm, the runt of the litter, follows behind the rest of her family. She is the tallest of the pups, but the most shy. She moves with caution and her head and tail low. All the pups see their father's habitual search for something as they return to the territory, and pay no attention to it. However, as one, all the pups pause in a step of hesitiation as they step inot the tt. They smell something new and different about it. A new presence*

*It is Sirus who makes the first move. He runs at his father's right side, his jet balck caot contrasting to his father's pale hide. He too, senses somthing new about his home. He stops and looks around. And it is he who spies the female wolf sleeping under his father's favorite tree. He does not know it is his mother, just a stranger, and his hair bristles. However, something is differemt about this wolf and he leaves her alone.

Apollo notices his family's hesitation and glances once more over the tt, looking for something that might have spooked them. He then, catches the glance of his lost mate sleeeping peacefully under his tree. He leaves the pups, who scatter about the home, and approacjes her. He sits down a ta distance and waits her awakeing*
