I got a shadow-box style frame at a hobby store, used a nice color of foam core board for a backing, and arranged all my dd's medals for one year in it. I used my computer and mailing labels to groups medals from each feis together, with the name of the feis, location, date, and all her placings on the label. I used heavy thread to secure each medal to the foam core board. We have a separate shadowbox for each feis year. No more engraving medals for $5 a pop or buying more dust-catching trophies to display medals.
