Minutes:

Farming out the work among other chapters: Pastor Mark has been speaking with senior staff directors in the US, and most of them are more than willing to participate. Rough assignments are as follows:

Translation (P. Kevin) – South/Central Region (Dr. Sam Zun, Jonas Chen)

Ushers (P. Lincoln) – West Coast (Isaac Kim), Canada (P. Mark will email)

Cafeteria Workers (Elena Lomahan) – Mid-Atlantic Region (Jacob Lee)

Stage Hands (David Hull) – Northeast Region (David Baik)

Signs (Toledo UBF – Ryan Kostecki ? and Bob Henkins)

GBS guides (Friday morning) – national JBF members and Bob Henkins

Bus hosts (David Kim) – Triton, Wright, Chicago (one Korean, one American)

Parking (Joshua Hong) – COD, Milwaukee I & II, WIU (and other Midwest chapters)

Please contact the senior staff member of your corresponding region to get/approve a list of names and then begin personally getting in touch with each member. Be ready to report to Pastor Mark by the next meeting (end of May).

Foreign delegates will be dispersed into all dormitories (roughly by continent), in order to open up fellowship between missionaries and coworkers. Meals will generally be arranged by dormitory.

Plan for the next month:
Database development: it is functional, accessible, but not complete.
Build a personal and warm relationship with coworkers from other regions that will be participating
DON’T: call them fools, be condescending/overbearing, complain/vent, be Chicago-centric, ignore their input, don’t assume anything.

DO: be humble!, be positive, be joyful, be encouraging, be communicative, be like Jesus (suffer joyfully), build team spirit, be clear with assignments/due dates

Remember the two goals of the conference:
Encourage our missionaries
Plant world mission vision in American/Canadian students

Sub-committees
Busing
Database Related

Technical Staff

Office Managers

Cafeteria/Catering

Prayer Topics:

Database completion
Translation Equipment (the company we rent from may donate it to UBF)
Establishing good relationships with other regions
