Hello. Sorry for not responding quicker...I am busy with lots of homework and so on. But anyway, in response to your own responses:

You know JD? Great! God used him mightily...I don't think I can really say how much of a blessing he was in words. Because of his shepherd heart, I recieved Christ along with several other people in my grade...God used me to plant the seed of GOd's kingdom in my friends' hearts at school as well. God used our group to change the atmosphere of CBF. CBF children learned more about the reality of sin and so on. Testimonies were so awesome. I held my friends accountable and prayed with them. During Midwest summer Bible conference, I renewed my relationship with Christ. It was so awesome to see people repent with tears and newly accept Christ...it makes me tear up every time I think about it, beacuse God is so good.
Don't talk about JD as if you know him that well in terms of why he left HBF. Yes, he left HBF. He even left Chicago UBF to join the Wright college ministry. He prayed about it for months...it wasn't an act of randomness. He really wants to be a missionary. Moreover, yes, it is true that he endured a hard time while he was in HBF. Is that the reason for why he left?...maybe he saw that God was using that to make him move on and go out as a missionary. But its absurd to think that he left because parents were angry with him or his wife. He wasn't perfect either, and he made some bad mistakes as well; people had the right to be angry, including the kids. I think some adults were wrong in opposing them, but then again, those are the adults. You understand? Coworking is not easy. There's always some struggling to work together. Paul opposed Peter. Anyway, does the fact that JD left HBF that mean UBF wronged him? Ask him. He'll think you ridiculous. In fact, I think you ridiculous for even bringing that up...haha sorry to sound rude. I'm just saying it how it is since I know JD so well. JD left, so what? THe work of GOd will continue. Jd is also continuing the work God called him to do, so whatever. He really has a relationship with Christ. As I said, he prayed for months. I'm just clearing that up. I think it's cool that he wants to be a missionary... People have to move on. God used him mightily for HBF, now its his calling to be a missionary (they were planning to go out for a loooong time ever since they went to Ecuador). I'm very close with the Dewittes. I love them like my own family, and they treat me as their own. I've known JD for a long time, and me and him were truly like brothers. I love him and am happy for his calling to be a missionary. THe work of God is undeniably going on =)!

In terms of blaming this site for the incident with my friend, I have every right to be mad. I'm not angry at you or any of the people on this site. I'm just mad at the fact that this site exists, not for good intent, but for malicious ones.
I mean, it would be pretty obvious to me if this site had good intentions. I'd see a community of believers holding each other accountable and praying for each other and UBF. Yet all I see is people pointing out the wrongs that people in UBF committed in the past, and then that's it. I mean, they have the right to be angry...but when will the anger subside? And is this really helping them? Only the work of God can help them. The work of God should be evident. And when you look at UBF, you see work of God even though Satan tries to get in there. When I see this site, I don't see work of God but people with a goal to bring something down, not build anything up. What people are you bringing to Christ through this site? More importantly, does this site really make you closer to Christ?

Listen. I'll straight up answer all your questions. You're right. THis site would be irrelevant if UBF did change. And guess what, it has. Therefore, this site is irrelevant and out of date. Moreover, it's useless. My friend was so flustered because what she saw on this site DID NOT AT ALL match what she saw. SO she was confused.

It makes me upset that you psychoanalyze my friend as if you know her. You took my statement in the wrong context. Read carefully: I said that she basically rejected Christianity because of the stuff she read online. Okay, that was ambiguous. First of all, she didnt reject CHristianity thinking that people in UBF committed indecent acts. SHe rejected Christianity because it was too confusing for her. THe stuff she read online didn't match what she saw and she didn't know what to believe...and so she rejected Christianity with the conclusion that religion has no validity because there's too much hate. I shouldn't be angry? I should blame unrepentant leaders? Sorry for sounding rude, but you really dont know what you're talking about, cuz what she saw did not match at all what she read, and for THAT reason she left, because according to her there was too many complications.

Let me just tell you something. All the bad things that you still think exist, like the strange trainings, etc etc. are gone. No more. No dictatorship, which I am happy about. I had problems with UBF before because i could definitely see the strange things DSL made other people do, but that doesn't happen anymore. No one's forced to marry, if that is also what you're wondering. People can marry who they wish, but UBF particularly prefers marriage to be a spiritual union as well--what's wrong with that? Marriage should be more spiritual than human. In a nutshell, all of this is out of date. Have you met Christ in UBF? Well since I have, that means the work of God is going on. ANd if the work of God is going on, it overpowers the work of Satan. But is the work of God going on here? It is not evident nor can I see it.

BTW,here's my other conclusion. Your lack of knowledge of what is going on in the present UBF shows that you truly do not have good intent nor prayer for UBF as much as you have malicious intent to bring UBF down. You just keep bringing up things from the past over and over again and you are so used to doing so that you are blinded from seeing any changed. But UBF will not go down, because as I said, the work of God is so much stronger than the work of the devil... Remember--if God is not using you, then the devil is. There is no middleground. Don't decieve yourself (im not talking to you, but to everyone in general). And if you do certainly pray for UBF, I'm sorry for making sweeping generalizations...but it is evident that this site does not promote the work of God, whereas UBF does even though Satan tries to get in there.
