Peter Chang is considered the best example of how a UBF missionary should raise disciples and train them to be campus shepherds. Chang is considered to be the closest example to Samuel Lee. My director and his wife stated that Bonn UBF is the best UBF in the world.

From my experience, many of the UBF missionaries (expecially the older ones) how do not use the fear tactics, training, and imposition of absolute obedience to the extreme of Peter Chang or Samuel Lee are not not doing so because they believe Peter Chang and Samuel Lee are wrong. They believe that Samuel Lee and Peter Chang have/had much more faith and are much more spiritual than they are. Thus, Samuel Lee and Peter Chang can utilize exetreme fear and training tactics and compel obedience because they are great spiritual men. The other senior missionaries aspire to grow in faith so that they may have the same type of ministry as Samuel Lee did in Chicago and Peter Chang has in Bonn. I know that my director and his wife had this desire.
