Subject: Turning sexuality into a guilt weapon

There was a person at my chapter who experienced similar abuse. He was getting into his late twenties and hadn't dated in several years (because of the UBF taboo against dating). At one meeting he expressed how lonely he was and that he wanted to have a girl friend, just for companionship. Hearing this, the chapter director thundered, "NO! It is only your evil flesh desire!" Then he went on to say some sort of enlightened proverb, "when man and woman sit next to each other, electric sparks, it happens."

God obviously created men and women to be sexually attracted to each other. It is also not a secret that many people indulgently abuse their sexuality. What UBF does is it forces you to think of any sexuality at all as sinful. It makes you so paranoid about the opposite sex that it really screws up your mind. I am aware of a number of cases where long-time UBF members and former members experienced very disturbing sexual urges. I have no doubt that these were due to the prolonged and thorough suppression of all sexual feelings forced upon them by the UBF.

UBF uses sexuality as a guilt weapon to manipulate and control its members.
