The worst accusation of that kind was when two members of my chapter (who were old enough, both mature Christians, both above 25!) wanted to marry and they were not allowed, they were told it was only their evil flesh desire. The man was told to go to another UBF chapter for training immediately when the chapter leader heard of their plans. Their only change to marry was by leaving UBF. Fortunately, their love was stronger and they left UBF. They were the kind of very loyal members who probably would be still in UBF if this had not happened. The woman had been in UBF for about 8 years and she had been the one with the most 1:1 bible studies. Except me and my wife, nobody from UBF showed up at their marriage, because the chapter leader had told everybody that it was only a matter of "evil flesh desire". However, they are now, after 4 years, still luckily married, and have a child. They are very active in their church. The man finished a Biblical seminary after leaving UBF and is now a teacher at a Christian school. They are a good example and I have never seen such a blessed and harmonic marriage in UBF.
