UBF has a pecking order of recruitment. The higher you are on the pecking order the more attention and pressure you get. If you come in already married and typically older, you will not get as much attention and as a result less pressure. UBF prefers a blank slate.

Here is the general UBF pecking order, feel free to add your own thoughts.

1. Young single white male
2. Young single white female
3. Older single white male
4. Older single white female
5. Young single minority male
6. Young single minority female
7. Young single Korean immigrant male
8. Married couple

you could probably fit sub groups in there, such as No Christian background. (They don't want "Old Christian attitude" translation: someone who could quickly sniff out the UBF cult practices)
