Subject: Off Topic Board

Chris"s idea is quite good.
If we just stick to the objectives of this web site it is going to get boring. (Some of my correspondents already think it has.) If one gets away from the objective on gets accused of this. On this web site we have regulars who I know by name but I know very little about them, this web site can get really impersonal. Lots of people I just know as debaters. I would like to know them as people.
When I see someone as a person they become totally different to the debater. Sometimes we get so obsessed about winning a point at times it can become nasty, and regretfully I include myself in the last comment. I feel that unless we can broaden the base on this web site, I think it will eventually die. Tony Lang. langtony2003@yahoo.com
