The only concrete example he gave was one father - I believe the chapter is Toledo - who took photographs at UBF

You are thinking about Jim Paul. He and his wife, Sue, are long-time members of Toledo UBF. They are the parents of Trent Paul, who is considered one of the top leaders in Toledo UBF under Paul Hong. Jim and Sue have another son, Wade (renamed Augustine by Paul Hong) who attends Toledo UBF. I believe that Trent began Bible study first. Jim was an unbeliever when Trent began Bible study. I do not know the background details, but Jim began to study with Paul Hong. Jim stated that through Bible study with Paul, he came to receive Christ as his Savior. Jim always takes the photographs at the conferences.

There is also another parent of a former UBF member in Toledo UBF. I believe her last name is Dellinger. Her son studied the Bible for a while. During that time, Ms. Dellinger began Bible study. I believe she studies with Sue Paul. Her son left, but Ms. Dellinger remained in UBF.

These are the only parents that I know of who spent significant time in UBF.

In Christ,

PECAS
