Subject: 2nd gen marriages

This is what the son of Kaleb Hong, current Europe UBF leader told me when he was 18. At that time he was a little scared about marriage. He asked me how MY marriage was arranged. His was scared, because his father had told him something like "When the time comes, we both will have a trip to Korea and I will pick a beautiful bride for you." Probably Kaleb did this because he believed his son would appreciate such an idea. But his son was horrified, because it revealed what's really behind "marriage by faith." But meanwhile, his son has become an UBF loyalist and maybe has even married in that way.

From what I've also heard, a lot of second gens take things into their own hands WITH approval from parents.

In a recent case in Cologne UBF, two 2nd gens tried to do that and they had approval from both their parents. Nevertheless, Abraham K Lee "set an example," prevented the planned marriage and let them write "testimonies of repentance."
