Chris wrote a little more about that particular case in Cologne UBF before. Based on what I've been told, the quashing of that non-UBF-style marriage in Cologne between the two 2ndgens wasn't done by Abe K. Lee by himself. There was communication up the UBF chain of command to Chicago and probably to Seoul as well about this possible non-UBF-style marriage. There is very little autonomy in the UBF pyramid that has been discussed here recently. From what I've been told, Mark Yoon in Chicago (thousands of miles away from Cologne) apparently had his own ideas about whom those two Cologne 2ndgens should marry "by faith." The point is that even UBF parents' input on who their childrens' marriage partners should be takes second or third place to what these UBF parents' leaders in Germany, Chicago and Seoul think.

These leaders in Chicago and Seoul have a plan for every 2ndgen's future marriage. They may not have a specific person in mind for you, but they have a plan, so forget any plans that you or your parents might be entertaining.

I've also been told that Sam Lee Jr. in Chicago had a hand in arranging the recent marriage that I had been invited to. He's a chip off the old block, that Sam Lee Jr.
