Don't get me wrong here i do not support the UBF way of marriage fully but it also is not exactly as it is being portayed here.


I would raise the simple question of how far "into" UBF you were. UBF also didn't control with whom I met for what reason, yet I can tell you that they would do exactly that thing with other people in the very chapter where I was: control with whom they met for what reason, tell them when to marry whom and... ah well. You know the story.

UBF leaders know quite well how far they can push each and everyone under their "leadership". They've had years of experience to fathom what the target will subject to and what not.
Even you see that people like Karcher don't deny that arranged marriages with totally unfitting strangers are happening, he's calling it "marriage by faith".

You can not say "This is not true". But you CAN say "It's not equally true for everyone". Then, I'd agree.
