Hi E,

what is the "*IU" chapter? Is it close to Chicago?

However I have tried unsuccessfuly to leave before.

What was the problem? Did the UBFins change your mind and persuaded you to stay when you already wanted to leave, or were there other reasons why you couldn't leave?

The problem is that half of my worldly possessions are being stored by a UBF missionary.

What was the reason for this arrangement? Did you give him these things because he asked you? Why? Did you give these things away because you didn't have enough room for them any more or as expression of a "spiritual" decision?

This missionary has made vailed threats regarding rape and death toward me.

Are you sure you understood him correctly? If it was veiled, maybe you understood something wrong. I think this needs a bit more explanation.

I am cosidering not trying to reclaim any of the things at this man's house.

No, you should absolutely claim back all of the things which belong to you.

If you have any advice for me regarding this issue please respond.

That's a bit hard to do, because the information you gave is too little to understand the whole thing. Therefore - if you don't want to go into detail in public, which seems to be advisable in this case - I suggest you get in touch with the people mentioned at the support page and explain your situation in detail. These are trustworthy people who have much experience with UBF. I suggest you contact Nick or Amy, because I know they are currently available and read their email regularly.
